Yeah…let’s start dictating who can wear what based on race.
Well sure, how you dress might influence how people think of you. But how people think of you is different than how they act towards you. IF having a tramp stamp is a sign that a girl is “loose”, that does not mean it is acceptable or justifiable to rape her. And IF wearing a hoodie is a sign that a teenager is a “hoodlum”, that does not mean it is legal to shoot him.
The “hoody statement” was used to justify, or at the very least distract from, the real issue which is that a man followed an unarmed teenager away from his property, was told by the police to stop pursuing the boy, ended up shooting the boy, and has not been indicted for ANY crimes.
Thanks for that suggestion. This blog started when I saw a photo of Geraldo in a hoodie with Bill O’Reilly and I thought it’d be great to collect all the pics of him in a hoodie we could find. Somewhere along the way we ran out of new pics and I started posting other images related to the topic.
But the main point of the blog is to show pictures of Geraldo in a Hoodie. I think it’s run its course.
Spiderman knew Magneto was a villain, because he was wearing a hood.

You’re right, context is important. Here’s some context: George Zimmerman followed Trayvon Martin off his property and shot him after police had told him over the phone to stand down.
“I apologize to anyone offended by what one prominent black conservative called my ‘very practical and potentially life-saving campaign urging black and Hispanic parents not to let their children go around wearing hoodies,’” Rivera wrote in an email to Politico.

Hahahahahahahaaaaaa this is a good idea for a blog.
Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Ill.) donned a hood and dark sunglasses on the House floor this morning, saying, Just because someone wears a hoodie does not make them a hoodlum. As the Republican Rep. Greg Harper banged his gavel, Rep. Rush continued shouting, “May God bless Trayvon Martin’s soul, his family…” before he was escorted off of the floor and out of the room. Apparently it’s against House rules to wear a hat—and Rep. Harper explained, “The chair finds that the donning of a hood is not consistent with this rule. Members need to remove their hoods or leave the floor.” Here’s video.

Somebody submitted this but Tumblr got all whacky and made it so I can’t see who it was and can’t respond privately. But…yes. This is okay.
All of the images on this site are found/submitted via the Internet and I do not own them in any way.
Good question. We’d really have to defer to Geraldo’s great wisdom on this subject. But if I had to take a guess, based on what Geraldo says, all hoodies are a sign that you are about to rob a convenience store.
